Public Energy and
Artspace present the Ontario premiere of Tim Miller's Us. Miller's solo performances have been presented all over the world, in such prestigious venues as Yale Repertory Theatre, the Institute of Contemporary Art (London), the Walker Art Center (Minneapolis), and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. He is co-founder of Performance Space 122 in Manhattan, and Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica, Calif. Since 1990, he has taught performance at UCLA. In the early 90's, Miller gained international fame as one of the so-called "NEA 4", four artists who successfully sued the US government after their funding was withdrawn under political pressure from the Bush White House. |
