If you have danced a lot, or if you have ever dreamed of dancing, this project is for you.

Incandescent is a ten minute long contemporary dance work inspired by the lyrics of Leonard Cohen's Anthem, choreographed by Meredith Thompson and Kate Franklin performed outdoors, in Rotary Park as part of Dusk Dances 2013.  It involves six professional dancers and a very large cast of movers of all ages and experience levels (that's you!).
If you are between the ages of 10 and 110, if you can walk, run, lie down in the grass, spin around, close your eyes and raise your hands, then you can be a part of this amazing project.  Come alone and make new friends, or bring friends and family along so you can all dance together ...

For more information and to join the cast, please email Meredith Thompson at

Please review the rehearsal schedule to be sure you are able to participate.
Please note: You may attend the first two rehearsals without making a full commitment to the rest of the process. After that, participants will be available for all scheduled rehearsals (ideally) and performances (most certainly!).
